Danderhall can be reached by four bus routes, all of them making stops on the city centre’s North Bridge:
- "First" company’s number 79 & 86. (Please click here for bus schedule: In the "...find a bus service " field search 79 or 86, select day of week for relevant schedule: Mon-Fri., Sat, or Sun.)
- "Lothian" company’s number x48 & 49. (Please click one of the following: Lothian route maps, #49 schedule, #x48 schedule)After boarding, ask the driver to get off at the Danderhall stop. Once you get off of the bus, walk down Newton Church Rd., which is the main road you will see when you get off. At the end of Newton Church Road you will come to Edmonstone Road & Newton Church Hall.

Danderhall Community Centre
- From the A720 Edinburgh city bypass: travel 1.1 miles north on the A7 (Old Dalkeith Rd.).
- Turn right on Newton Church Road.
- Travel 0.2 miles, arrive at Edmonstone Road & Newton Church Hall.
17 Forthview Crescent
- From the A720 Edinburgh city bypass: travel 1.1 miles north on the A7 (Old Dalkeith Rd.).
- Turn right on Newton Church Road.
- Travel 0.2 miles, then turn left on Forthview Crescent.
- Travel 0.1 miles, arrive at 17 Forthview Crescent on the left side of the road.
